[Machine] Whoever trims or braids or ties something or unties or permutes hair, then he is in accordance with his intention in doing that. He (Prophet Muhammad) said, and Ibn 'Umar said: "Shaving is obligatory."  

البيهقي:٩٥٨٩ – أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو بَكْرٍ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ الْأَصْبَهَانِيُّ الْحَافِظُ أنبأ أَبُو نَصْرٍ الْعِرَاقِيُّ بِبُخَارَى ثنا سُفْيَانُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الْجَوْهَرِيُّ ثنا عَلِيُّ بْنُ الْحَسَنِ ثنا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ الْوَلِيدِ ثنا سُفْيَانُ عَنِ ابْنِ جُرَيْجٍ عَنْ عَطَاءٍ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ قَالَ

مَنْ لَبَّدَ أَوْ ضَفَّرَ أَوْ عَقَدَ أَوْ فَتَلَ أَوْ عَقَصَ فَهُوَ عَلَى مَا نَوَى مِنْ ذَلِكَ قَالَ وَقَالَ ابْنُ عُمَرَ حَلَقَ لَا بُدَّ
