[Machine] We used to wear clothes that we hadn't washed, and we would wear the garment called "al-mumashshaq," which is only a lining. 'Ikrimah, the freed slave of Ibn 'Abbas, narrated that the Prophet ﷺ changed his clothes with "at-tan'aim," while he was in a state of Ihram. Abu Dawud included this narration in his book "Al-Marasi."  

البيهقي:٩٠٧٣وَأَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ الْحَارِثِ الْفَقِيهُ أنبأ أَبُو مُحَمَّدِ بْنُ حَيَّانَ ثنا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ ثنا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ مَنِيعٍ ثنا ابْنُ أَبِي زَائِدَةَ عَنِ ابْنِ جُرَيْجٍ عَنْ أَبِي الزُّبَيْرِ عَنْ جَابِرٍ قَالَ

كُنَّا نَلْبَسُ مِنَ الثِّيَابِ إِذَا أَهْلَلْنَا مَا لَمْ نُهِلَّ فِيهِ وَنَلْبَسُ الْمُمَشَّقَ إِنَّمَا هُوَ بَطِينٌ وَرُوِّينَا عَنْ عِكْرِمَةَ مَوْلَى ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ غَيَّرَ ثَوْبَيْهِ بِالتَّنْعِيمِ وَهُوَ مُحْرِمٌ أَوْرَدَهُ أَبُو دَاوُدَ فِي الْمَرَاسِيلِ
