The Prophet (SWAS) matted his hair with honey. (Using translation from Abū Dāʾūd 1748)   

البيهقي:٨٩٧٦ – وَأَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَافِظُ ثنا أَبُو عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ ثنا يَحْيَى بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ يَحْيَى ثنا عُبَيْدُ اللهِ بْنُ عُمَرَ الْقَوَارِيرِيُّ ثنا عَبْدُ الْأَعْلَى ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ عَنْ نَافِعٍ عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ

أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ لَبَّدَ رَأْسَهُ بِالْغُسْلِ
