[Machine] "Allah's Messenger ﷺ intended to retreat. When he went to the place where he intended to retreat, he saw the concealment of Aisha, Hafsah, and Zainab. When he saw them, he asked about them. It was said to him, 'This is the concealment of Aisha, Hafsah, and Zainab.' The Messenger of Allah ﷺ then said, 'Do you say good about them?' Then he turned away and retreated for ten days of Shawwal."  

البيهقي:٨٦٠١ – أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو أَحْمَدَ عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ الْحَسَنِ الْعَدْلُ أنبأ أَبُو بَكْرٍ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ الْمُزَكِّي ح وَأَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَافِظُ أنبأ أَبُو زَكَرِيَّا يَحْيَى بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الْعَنْبَرِيُّ قَالَا ثنا أَبُو عَبْدِ اللهِ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ ثنا ابْنُ بُكَيْرٍ ثنا مَالِكٌ عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ سَعِيدٍ عَنْ عَمْرَةَ بِنْتِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ أَنَّ رَسُولَ

اللهِ ﷺ أَرَادَ أَنْ يَعْتَكِفَ فَلَمَّا انْصَرَفَ إِلَى الْمَكَانِ الَّذِي أَرَادَ أَنْ يَعْتَكِفَ فِيهِ رَأَى أَخْبِيَةً خِبَاءَ عَائِشَةَ وَخِبَاءَ حَفْصَةَ وَخِبَاءَ زَيْنَبَ ؓنَّ فَلَمَّا رَآهُنَّ سَأَلَ عَنْهُنَّ قِيلَ لَهُ هَذَا خِبَاءُ عَائِشَةَ وَخِبَاءُ حَفْصَةَ وَخِبَاءُ زَيْنَبَ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ الْبِرَّ تَقُولُونَ بِهِنَّ؟ ثُمَّ انْصَرَفَ فَاعْتَكَفَ عَشْرًا مِنْ شَوَّالٍ  

رَوَاهُ الْبُخَارِيُّ فِي الصَّحِيحِ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ يُوسُفَ عَنْ مَالِكٍ وَهَذَا مِنْ طَرِيقِ مَالِكٍ مُرْسَلٌ وَقَدْ وَصَلَهُ الْأَوْزَاعِيُّ وَحَمَّادُ بْنُ زَيْدٍ وَعَبَّادُ بْنُ الْعَوَّامِ وَسُفْيَانُ بْنُ عُيَيْنَةَ وَأَبُو مُعَاوِيَةَ الضَّرِيرُ وَيَعْلَى بْنُ عُبَيْدٍ وَعَمْرُو بْنُ الْحَارِثِ عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ سَعِيدٍ عَنْ عَمْرَةَ عَنْ عَائِشَةَ ؓ

Ziyad related to me from Malik from Ibn Shihab from Amra bint Abd ar-Rahman from A'isha that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ once wanted to do itikaf, and when he went off to the place where he wanted to do itikaf he found some tents there, which were A'isha's tent, Hafsa's tent, and Zaynab's tent. When he saw them he asked about them and someone told him that they were the tents of A'isha, Hafsa and Zaynab. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Do you think them devout?" Then he left, and did not do itikaf until Shawwal, when he then did it for ten days.  

مالك:١٩-٧ – حَدَّثَنِي زِيَادٌ عَنْ مَالِكٍ عَنِ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ عَنْ عَمْرَةَ بِنْتِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ عَنْ عَائِشَةَ

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ أَرَادَ أَنْ يَعْتَكِفَ فَلَمَّا انْصَرَفَ إِلَى الْمَكَانِ الَّذِي أَرَادَ أَنْ يَعْتَكِفَ فِيهِ وَجَدَ أَخْبِيَةً خِبَاءَ عَائِشَةَ وَخِبَاءَ حَفْصَةَ وَخِبَاءَ زَيْنَبَ فَلَمَّا رَآهَا سَأَلَ عَنْهَا فَقِيلَ لَهُ هَذَا خِبَاءُ عَائِشَةَ وَحَفْصَةَ وَزَيْنَبَ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ آلْبِرَّ تَقُولُونَ بِهِنَّ ثُمَّ انْصَرَفَ فَلَمْ يَعْتَكِفْ حَتَّى اعْتَكَفَ عَشْرًا مِنْ شَوَّالٍ
