[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "If one of you forgets and eats or drinks while fasting, he should complete his fast, for it is only Allah who has fed him and given him drink."  

البيهقي:٨٠٧١ – أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو أَحْمَدَ عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ الْحَسَنِ الْمِهْرَجَانِيُّ وَأَبُو نَصْرٍ أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عَلِيِّ بْنِ أَحْمَدَ الْفَامِيُّ قَالَا ثنا أَبُو عَبْدِ اللهِ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ الشَّيْبَانِيُّ ثنا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ أنبأ عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ بَكْرٍ السَّهْمِيُّ ثنا هِشَامٌ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ سِيرِينَ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ إِذَا نَسِيَ أَحَدُكُمْ فَأَكَلَ أَوْ شَرِبَ وَهُوَ صَائِمٌ فَلْيُتِمَّ صَوْمَهُ فَإِنَّمَا أَطْعَمَهُ اللهُ وَسَقَاهُ  

أَخْرَجَهُ الْبُخَارِيُّ فِي الصَّحِيحِ مِنْ حَدِيثِ يَزِيدَ بْنِ زُرَيْعٍ وَأَخْرَجَهُ مُسْلِمٌ مِنْ حَدِيثِ إِسْمَاعِيلَ ابْنِ عُلَيَّةَ كِلَاهُمَا عَنْ هِشَامِ بْنِ حَسَّانَ
