[Machine] "That the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said to the Jews of Khaybar when he conquered Khaybar: I will grant you a guarantee of safety that Allah has granted you, that the dates will be shared between us and you. He sent Abdullah ibn Rawaha to distribute dates among them and said: If you wish, it is for you, and if you wish, it is for me. They would take it."  

البيهقي:٧٤٣٧ – أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو زَكَرِيَّا بْنُ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ الْمُزَكِّي ثنا أَبُو الْعَبَّاسِ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ أنبأ الرَّبِيعُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ أنبأ الشَّافِعِيُّ أنبأ مَالِكٌ عَنِ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ الْمُسَيِّبِ

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ لِيَهُوَدِ خَيْبَرَ حِينَ افْتَتَحَ خَيْبَرَ أُقِرُّكُمْ مَا أَقَرَّكُمُ اللهُ عَلَى أَنَّ التَّمْرَ بَيْنَنَا وَبَيْنَكُمْ قَالَ فَكَانَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ يَبْعَثُ عَبْدَ اللهِ بْنَ رَوَاحَةَ ؓ فَيَخْرُصُ عَلَيْهِمْ ثُمَّ يَقُولُ إِنْ شِئْتُمْ فَلَكُمْ وَإِنْ شِئْتُمْ فَلِي فَكَانُوا يَأْخُذُونَ

Yahya related to me from Malik from Ibn Shihab from Said ibn al- Musayyab that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said to the jews of Khaybar on the day of the conquest of Khaybar, "I confirm you in it as long as Allah, the Mighty, the Majestic, establishes you in it, provided that the fruits are divided between us and you." Said continued, "The Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to send Abdullah ibn Rawaha, to assess the division of the fruit crop between him and them, and he would say, 'If you wish, you can buy it back, and if you wish, it is mine.' They would take it."  

مالك:٣٣-١ – حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى عَنْ مَالِكٍ عَنِ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ الْمُسَيَّبِ
