[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ attended the funerals until they were placed, and the people stood with him. Then, he sat down and ordered them to sit down as well, indicating for them to do so.  

البيهقي:٦٨٨٦ – وَأَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو زَكَرِيَّا بْنُ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ وَأَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ الْحَسَنِ قَالَا ثنا أَبُو الْعَبَّاسِ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ ثنا بَحْرُ بْنُ نَصْرٍ ثنا ابْنُ وَهْبٍ أَخْبَرَنِي أُسَامَةُ بْنُ زَيْدٍ اللَّيْثِيُّ أَنَّ مُحَمَّدَ بْنَ عَمْرِو بْنِ عَلْقَمَةَ حَدَّثَهُ عَنْ وَاقِدِ بْنِ عَمْرِو بْنِ سَعْدِ بْنِ مُعَاذٍ عَنْ نَافِعِ بْنِ جُبَيْرٍ عَنْ مَسْعُودِ بْنِ الْحَكَمِ الزُّرَقِيِّ عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ أَبِي طَالِبٍ ؓ قَالَ

قَامَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺمَعَ الْجَنَائِزِ حَتَّى تُوضَعَ وَقَامَ النَّاسُ مَعَهُ ثُمَّ قَعَدَ بَعْدَ ذَلِكَ وَأَمَرَهُمْ بِالْقُعُودِ وَبِمَعْنَاهُ  

رَوَاهُ غَيْرُهُ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَمْرٍو فِي الْأَمْرِ بِالْقُعُودِ
