[Machine] The Prophet ﷺ did not perform the funeral prayer for Ma'iz bin Malik, nor did he prohibit praying for him. It has been narrated that Ali bin Abi Talib said that when he stoned Al-Hamdaniyyah (a certain tribe), he said, "Treat him (the stoned person) as you would with your dead."  

البيهقي:٦٨٣١أَخْبَرَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ عَبْدَانَ أنبأ أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عُبَيْدٍ الصَّفَّارُ ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ غَالِبٍ ثنا مُعَلَّى بْنُ مَهْدِيٍّ ثنا أَبُو عَوَانَةَ عَنْ أَبِي بِشْرٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي نَفَرٌ مِنْ أَهْلِ الْبَصْرَةِ عَنْ أَبِي بُرْدَةَ قَالَ

لَمْ يُصَلِّ النَّبِيُّ ﷺعَلَى مَاعِزِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ وَلَمْ يَنْهَ عَنِ الصَّلَاةِ عَلَيْهِ وَرُوِّينَا عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ أَبِي طَالِبٍ ؓ أَنَّهُ لَمَّا رَجَمَ شَرَاحَةَ الْهَمْدَانِيَّةَ قَالَ افْعَلُوا بِهَا مَا تَفْعَلُونَ بِمَوْتَاكُمْ
