[Machine] "That he be returned to his family, so I brought him Asmaa. She washed him, shrouded him, and perfumed him. Then she buried him," said Ayyub. He continued, "And I thought he lived for only three days after that, and then he died. Nothing more was mentioned about him, and prayers were offered for him."  

البيهقي:٦٨٢٢وَأَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو الْحُسَيْنِ أنبأ عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ ثنا يَعْقُوبُ ثنا سَعِيدٌ ثنا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ أنبأ أَيُّوبُ عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي مُلَيْكَةَ قَالَ دَخَلْتُ عَلَى أَسْمَاءَ بِنْتِ أَبِي بَكْرٍ الصِّدِّيقِ بَعْدَ قَتْلِ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ الزُّبَيْرِ قَالَ وَجَاءَ كِتَابُ عَبْدِ الْمَلِكِ

أَنْ يُدْفَعَ إِلَى أَهْلِهِ فَأَتَيْتُ بِهِ أَسْمَاءَ فَغَسَّلَتْهُ وَكَفَّنَتْهُ وَحَنَّطَتْهُ ثُمَّ دَفَنَتْهُ قَالَ أَيُّوبُ وَأَحْسِبُهُ قَالَ فَمَا عَاشَتْ بَعْدَ ذَلِكَ إِلَّا ثَلَاثَةَ أَيَّامٍ ثُمَّ مَاتَتْ زَادَ غَيْرُهُ فِيهِ وَصَلَّتْ عَلَيْهِ
