[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to perform Takbir in the first Rak'ah of the two Eids by saying "Allahu Akbar" (Allah is the Greatest) seven times, and in the second Rak'ah, he would say it five times before the recitation, and so on.  

البيهقي:٦١٧٣وَأَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَافِظُ ثنا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ الْفَقِيهُ أنبأ الْحَسَنُ بْنُ عَلِيِّ بْنِ زِيَادٍ ثنا ابْنُ أَبِي أُوَيْسٍ ثنا كَثِيرُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عَمْرِو بْنِ عَوْفٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ جَدِّهِ

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ كَانَ يُكَبِّرُ فِي الْعِيدَيْنِ فِي الرَّكْعَةِ الْأُولَى بِسَبْعِ تَكْبِيرَاتٍ وَفِي الثَّانِيَةِ خَمْسَ تَكْبِيرَاتٍ قَبْلَ الْقِرَاءَةِ وَكَذَلِكَ  

رَوَاهُ عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ نَافِعٍ عَنْ كَثِيرٍ قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى سَأَلْتُ مُحَمَّدًا يَعْنِي الْبُخَارِيَّ عَنْ هَذَا الْحَدِيثِ فَقَالَ لَيْسَ فِي هَذَا الْبَابِ شَيْءٌ أَصَحُّ مِنْ هَذَا وَبِهِ أَقُولُ قَالَ وَحَدِيثُ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمِنِ الطَّائِفِيِّ عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ شُعَيْبٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ جَدِّهِ فِي هَذَا الْبَابِ هُوَ صَحِيحٌ أَيْضًا
