[Machine] The Prophet ﷺ used to go to the prayer place on the day of Eid, and a young she-goat would be brought before him. When he reached the prayer place, he would place the young she-goat between his hands and pray towards it.

البيهقي:٦١٦٨ – أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو عَمْرٍو مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ الْأَدِيبُ أنبأ أَبُو بَكْرٍ الْإِسْمَاعِيلِيُّ ثنا الْقَاسِمُ بْنُ زَكَرِيَّا ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الصَّبَّاحِ الْجَرْجَرَائِيُّ أنبأ الْوَلِيدُ بْنُ مُسْلِمٍ عَنِ الْأَوْزَاعِيِّ عَنْ نَافِعٍ عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ قَالَ

كَانَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ يَغْدُو إِلَى الْمُصَلَّى فِي يَوْمِ الْعِيدِ وَالْعَنَزَةُ تُحْمَلُ بَيْنَ يَدَيْهِ فَإِذَا بَلَغَ إِلَى الْمُصَلَّى نُصِبَتْ بَيْنَ يَدَيْهِ الْعَنَزَةُ فَيُصَلِّي إِلَيْهَا

رَوَاهُ الْبُخَارِيُّ فِي الصَّحِيحِ عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ بْنِ الْمُنْذِرِ عَنِ الْوَلِيدِ بْنِ مُسْلِمٍ
