[Machine] That the Prophet ﷺ said, "Every sermon that does not contain a testimony is like a deceitful hand." Muslim said, "Indeed, Yahya ibn Ma'in spoke about Abi Hisham in this matter."  

البيهقي:٥٧٧٠ – وَأَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو صَالِحٍ أنبأ جَدِّي قَالَ قَالَ أَبُو الْفَضْلِ يَعْنِي أَحْمَدَ بْنَ سَلَمَةَ سَمِعْتُ مُسْلِمَ بْنَ الْحَجَّاجِ يَقُولُ لَمْ يَرْوِ هَذَا الْحَدِيثَ عَنْ عَاصِمٍ عَنْ كُلَيْبٍ إِلَّا عَبْدُ الْوَاحِدِ بْنُ زِيَادٍ فَقُلْتُ لَهُ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو هِشَامٍ الرِّفَاعِيُّ ثنا ابْنُ فُضَيْلٍ عَنْ عَاصِمِ بْنِ كُلَيْبٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ

أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ قَالَ كُلُّ خُطْبَةٍ لَيْسَ فِيهَا شَهَادَةٌ فَهِيَ كَالْيَدِ الْجَذْمَاءِ فَقَالَ مُسْلِمٌ إِنَّمَا تَكَلَّمَ يَحْيَى بْنُ مَعِينٍ فِي أَبِي هِشَامٍ بِهَذَا الَّذِي
