[Machine] We stayed with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ during a journey of nineteen days where he shortened the prayer. Ibn Abbas said, "If we added more days, we completed the prayer."  

البيهقي:٥٤٥٩ – وَأَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو عَمْرٍو الْأَدِيبُ أنبأ أَبُو بَكْرٍ الْإِسْمَاعِيلِيُّ ثنا الْمَنِيعِيٌّ ثنا دَاوُدُ بْنُ عَمْرٍو ثنا أَبُو شِهَابٍ عَنْ عَاصِمٍ الْأَحْوَلِ عَنْ عِكْرِمَةَ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ قَالَ

أَقَمْنَا مَعَ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ فِي سَفَرٍ تِسْعَةَ عَشَرَ يَقْصُرُ الصَّلَاةَ قَالَ ابْنُ عَبَّاسٍ إِنْ زِدْنَا أَتْمَمْنَا  

رَوَاهُ الْبُخَارِيُّ فِي الصَّحِيحِ عَنْ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ يُونُسَ عَنْ أَبِي شِهَابٍ وَرَوَاهُ خَلَفُ بْنُ هِشَامٍ عَنْ أَبِي شِهَابٍ فَقَالَ سَبْعَ عَشْرَةَ 5460 أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ الْحَارِثِ الْفَقِيهُ أنبأ عَلِيُّ بْنُ عُمَرَ الْحَافِظُ ثنا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ ثنا خَلَفُ بْنُ هِشَامٍ ثنا أَبُو شِهَابٍ فَذَكَرَهُ وَفِي آخِرِهِ قَالَ ابْنُ عَبَّاسٍ وَنَحْنُ نَقْصُرُ سَبْعَ عَشْرَةَ وَإِنْ زِدْنَا أَتْمَمْنَا
