[Machine] I went out with Abu Hurairah from the mosque after the morning prayer, and we met a woman who was wearing a fragrance that I had never smelled before. Abu Hurairah greeted her and she returned the greeting. He asked her, "Where are you going?" She replied, "To the mosque." He asked her, "For what reason did you use this fragrance?" She said, "For the mosque." He asked, "By Allah?" She replied, "By Allah." He asked, "By Allah?" She replied, "By Allah." He asked, "By Allah?" She replied, "By Allah." He said, "Verily, my beloved, Abu Al-Qasim ﷺ , informed me that a woman's prayer is not accepted if she uses perfume for other than her husband, until she performs the ritual bath from sexual impurity. So go and perform the bath, then return and pray." This statement was narrated by Abu Al-Harith Ubaid bin Abi Ubaid, who is a slave of Abdul Rahman bin Al-Harith bin Abi Ubaid. It was narrated by Asim bin Abdullah from Ubaid bin Abu Ruham.  

خَرَجْتُ مَعَ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ مِنَ الْمَسْجِدِ ضُحًى فَلَقِيَتْنَا امْرَأَةٌ بِهَا مِنَ الْعِطْرِ شَيْءٌ لَمْ أَجِدْ بِأَنْفِي مِثْلَهُ قَطُّ فَقَالَ لَهَا أَبُو هُرَيْرَةَ عَلَيْكِ السَّلَامُ فَقَالَتْ وَعَلَيْكَ قَالَ فَأَيْنَ تُرِيدِينَ؟ قَالَتْ الْمَسْجِدَ قَالَ وَلِأِيِّ شَيْءٍ تَطَيَّبْتِ بِهَذَا الطِّيبِ؟ قَالَتْ لِلْمَسْجِدِ قَالَ آللَّهِ؟ قَالَتْ آللَّهِ قَالَ آللَّهِ؟ قَالَتْ آللَّهِ قَالَ فَإِنَّ حِبِّي أَبَا الْقَاسِمِ ﷺ أَخْبَرَنِي أَنَّهُ لَا تُقْبَلُ لِامْرَأَةٍ صَلَاةٌ تَطَيَّبَتْ بِطِيبٍ لِغَيْرِ زَوْجِهَا حَتَّى تَغْتَسِلَ مِنْهُ غُسْلَهَا مِنَ الْجَنَابَةِ فَاذْهَبِي فَاغْتَسِلِي مِنْهُ ثُمَّ ارْجِعِي فَصَلِّي جَدُّهُ أَبُو الْحَارِثِ عُبَيْدُ بْنُ أَبِي عُبَيْدٍ وَهُوَ عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ الْحَارِثِ بْنِ أَبِي الْحَارِثِ بْنِ أَبِي عُبَيْدٍ وَرَوَاهُ عَاصِمُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ عَنْ عُبَيْدٍ مَوْلَى أَبِي رُهْمٍ
