[Machine] "People used to enter the rooms of the Prophet's wives after the Prophet's death and they would pray Jumu'ah there. The mosque would become crowded, so they would expand it by utilizing the rooms of the Prophet's wives. However, these rooms are not considered part of the mosque, but rather the doors leading to them are within the mosque. Malik said, 'Whoever prays in any area that is connected to the mosque, whether it is within the mosque itself or in its immediate vicinity, it is sufficient and this has always been the practice of the people and no one from the scholars has objected to it.' Malik continued, 'As for a closed-off house that can only be entered with permission, it is not appropriate for anyone to pray there with the congregation on Jumu'ah, even if it is nearby, because it does not belong to the mosque.'"
