[Machine] The passage translates to: "That the Messenger of Allah, ﷺ , used to pray during the night in his room and some of his companions came to him, so they prayed with his prayer. He calmed down and entered the house, then came out and did that repeatedly, all of that he would pray and then leave and enter. When morning came, they said, 'O Messenger of Allah, we prayed with you last night and we want you to prolong your prayer.' He said, 'I knew that you were there intentionally, so I did that.'"  

البيهقي:٥٢٤١ – وَأَخْبَرَنَا بِحَدِيثِ أَنَسٍ أَبُو طَاهِرٍ الْفَقِيهُ أنبأ أَبُو طَاهِرٍ الْمُحَمَّدَآبَاذِيُّ أنبأ إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ السَّعْدِيُّ أنبأ يَزِيدُ بْنُ هَارُونَ أنبأ حُمَيْدٌ الطَّوِيلُ عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ كَانَ يُصَلِّي ذَاتَ لَيْلَةٍ فِي حُجْرَتِهِ فَأَتَاهُ نَاسٌ مِنْ أَصْحَابِهِ فَصَلُّوا بِصَلَاتِهِ فَخَفَّفَ فَدَخَلَ الْبَيْتَ ثُمَّ خَرَجَ فَفَعَلَ ذَلِكَ مِرَارًا كُلَّ ذَلِكَ يُصَلِّي ثُمَّ يَنْصَرِفُ وَيَدْخُلُ فَلَمَّا أَصْبَحَ قَالُوا يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّيْنَا مَعَكَ الْبَارِحَةَ وَنَحْنُ نُحِبُّ أَنْ تَمُدَّ فِي صَلَاتِكَ فَقَالَ قَدْ عَلِمْتُ بِمَكَانِكُمْ عَمْدًا فَعَلْتُ ذَلِكَ

[Machine] The Prophet ﷺ was praying in his room one night when some of his companions came and prayed with his prayer. He reduced it then entered the house, then came out and did that again. He kept praying and then leaving. When morning came, they said, "O Messenger of Allah, we prayed with you last night and we would love for you to prolong your prayer." He said, "I knew of your presence and deliberately did that."  

أحمد:١٣٠٦٥ – حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ أَخْبَرَنَا حُمَيْدٌ عَنْ أَنَسٍ

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ كَانَ ذَاتَ لَيْلَةٍ يُصَلِّي فِي حُجْرَتِهِ فَجَاءَ أُنَاسٌ مِنْ أَصْحَابِهِ فَصَلَّوْا بِصَلَاتِهِ فَخَفَّفَ ثُمَّ دَخَلَ الْبَيْتَ ثُمَّ خَرَجَ فَفَعَلَ ذَلِكَ مِرَارًا كُلُّ ذَلِكَ يُصَلِّي وَيَنْصَرِفُ فَلَمَّا أَصْبَحَ قَالُوا يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّيْنَا مَعَكَ الْبَارِحَةَ وَنَحْنُ نُحِبُّ أَنْ تَمُدَّ فِي صَلَاتِكَ فَقَالَ قَدْ عَلِمْتُ بِمَكَانِكُمْ وَعَمْدًا فَعَلْتُ ذَلِكَ  

ahmad:13213 – ʿAbd al-Ṣamad > Ḥammād > Thumāmah > Anas b. Mālik

[Machine] "The companions of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ came to him one night in Ramadan and he prayed for them, then he lightened the prayer. Then he entered and prolonged the prayer, then he came out and prayed with them, then he entered and prolonged the prayer. He did this repeatedly. When morning came, they said, 'O Messenger of Allah, we came to you and you did such and such.' He said, 'I did that for your sake.'"  

أحمد:١٣٢١٣ – حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الصَّمَدِ حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادٌ حَدَّثَنِي ثُمَامَةُ عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ

أَنَّ أَصْحَابَ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ أَتَوْهُ لَيْلَةً فِي رَمَضَانَ وَصَلَّى لَهُمْ فَخَفَّفَ ثُمَّ دَخَلَ فَأَطَالَ الصَّلَاةَ ثُمَّخَرَجَ فَصَلَّى بِهِمْ ثُمَّ دَخَلَ فَأَطَالَ الصَّلَاةَ فَفَعَلَ ذَلِكَ مِرَارًا فَلَمَّا أَصْبَحَ قَالُوا يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ أَتَيْنَاكَ فَفَعَلْتَ كَذَا وَكَذَا فَقَالَ مِنْ أَجْلِكُمْ فَعَلْتُ ذَلِكَ
