[Machine] A man asked the Messenger of Allah, ﷺ , which prayer is better after the obligatory prayer? He said: The prayer in the middle of the night. He asked: Which fasting is better after Ramadan? He said: The month of Allah, which you call Al-Muharram.

البيهقي:٤٦٦١ – أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَافِظُ وَمُحَمَّدُ بْنُ مُوسَى بْنِ الْفَضْلِ قَالَا ثنا أَبُو الْعَبَّاسِ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ ثنا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْحَمِيدِ الْحَارِثِيُّ ثنا حُسَيْنُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ عَنْ زَائِدَةَ عَنْ عَبْدِ الْمَلِكِ يَعْنِي ابْنَ عُمَيْرٍ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ الْمُنْتَشِرِ عَنْ حُمَيْدٍ الْحِمْيَرِيِّ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ؓ قَالَ

سَأَلَ رَجُلٌ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ أِيُّ الصَّلَاةِ أَفْضَلُ بَعْدَ الصَّلَاةِ الْمَكْتُوبَةِ؟ قَالَ الصَّلَاةُ فِي جَوْفِ اللَّيْلِ قَالَ فَأِيُّ الصَّوْمِ أَفْضَلُ بَعْدَ رَمَضَانَ؟ قَالَ شَهْرُ اللهِ الَّذِي تَدْعُونَهُ الْمُحَرَّمَ

رَوَاهُ مُسْلِمٌ فِي الصَّحِيحِ عَنْ أَبِي بَكْرِ بْنِ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ عَنْ حُسَيْنٍ الْجُعْفِيِّ وَكَذَلِكَ رَوَاهُ جَرِيرُ بْنُ عَبْدٍ الْحُمَيْدِيُّ عَنْ عَبْدِ الْمَلِكِ بْنِ عُمَيْرٍ وَكَذَلِكَ رَوَاهُ أَبُو بِشْرٍ عَنْ حُمَيْدِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ
