[Machine] He drowned in the dispute so he exaggerated in giving a fatwa for everything between you and the Fajr prayer. And "Witr" is when you perform it, it is good.  

البيهقي:٤٥٢٦ – أنبأ أَبُو الْحَسَنِ الْمُقْرِئُ أنبأ الْحَسَنُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ إِسْحَاقَ ثنا يُوسُفُ بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ ثنا عَمْرُو بْنُ مَرْزُوقٍ أنبأ زُهَيْرٌ عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ عَنْ عَاصِمِ بْنِ ضَمْرَةَ أَنَّ قَوْمًا أَتَوْا عَلِيًّا ؓ فَسَأَلُوهُ عَنِ الْوِتْرِ فَقَالَ سَأَلْتُمْ عَنْهُ أَحَدًا؟ فَقَالُوا سَأَلْنَا أَبَا مُوسَى الْأَشْعَرِيَّ فَقَالَ لَا وِتْرَ بَعْدَ الْآذَانِ فَقَالَ

لَقَدْ أَغْرَقَ النَّزْعَ فَأَفْرَطَ فِي الْفَتْوَى كُلُّ شَيْءٍ مَا بَيْنَكَ وَبَيْنَ صَلَاةِ الْغَدَاةِ وِتْرٌ مَتَى أَوْتَرْتَ فَحَسَنٌ
