[Machine] That Abdullah ibn Umar used to pray the funeral prayers after the Asr prayer and after the Fajr prayer when we prayed them at their respective times.
أَنَّ عَبْدَ اللهِ بْنَ عُمَرَ كَانَ يُصَلِّي عَلَى الْجَنَائِزِ بَعْدَ الْعَصْرِ وَبَعْدَ الصُّبْحِ إِذَا صَلَّيْنَا لِوَقْتِهِمَا
Yahya related to me from Malik from Nafi that Abdullah ibn Umar said, "The prayer for a dead person can be done after asr and subh if these have been prayed at their times."
قَالَ يُصَلَّى عَلَى الْجَنَازَةِ بَعْدَ الْعَصْرِ وَبَعْدَ الصُّبْحِ إِذَا صُلِّيَتَا لِوَقْتِهِمَا
Yahya related to me from Malik from Nafi that Abdullah ibn Umar, when he prayed over the dead, would say, "Peace be upon you" loud enough for whoever was near to him to hear.
