[Machine] When the Messenger of Allah ﷺ shaved his head on the day of sacrifice, he took his hair in his right hand. When the barber shaved the right side of his head, the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "O Anas, take this [hair] to Abu Talha and Umm Sulaim." When the people saw what he had done with it, they rushed to collect the remaining hair. This person took a lock, that person took strands, and another person took something else. Muhammad said, "I narrated this hadith to 'Ubaidullah al-Salmani, and he said, 'I would rather have a single hair from it than all the yellow and white [hairs] on the face of the earth and in its belly.'"

[Machine] When the Messenger of Allah ﷺ shaved his head in Mina, he took a portion of his right hair in his hand. When he finished, he gave it to me and said, "O Anas, take this to Umm Sulaim." When the people saw what he had specifically given her, they began to compete over the other portions. This one takes something and that one takes something. Muhammad ﷺ said, "I narrated this to Ubaydah Al-Salmani, and he said, 'I would rather have one strand of his hair with me than all the yellow and white (gold and silver) that have spread over the earth and found within it.'"
