[Machine] A garment of silk was presented to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ . He sent it to me, and I wore it. I saw anger on his face, so I tore it into pieces and distributed them among my wives.  

البيهقي:٤٢١٦ – أنبأ أَبُو عَبْدِ اللهِ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَافِظُ أنبأ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ الصَّفَّارُ ثنا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ ثنا سُلَيْمَانُ بْنُ حَرْبٍ وَعَمْرُو بْنُ مَرْزُوقٍ جَمِيعًا عَنْ شُعْبَةَ عَنْ عَبْدِ الْمَلِكِ بْنِ أَبِي مَيْسَرَةَ عَنْ زَيْدِ بْنِ وَهْبٍ عَنْ عَلِيٍّ ؓ قَالَ

أُهْدِيَ لِرَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ حُلَّةٌ سِيَرَاءُ قَالَ فَبَعَثَ إِلَيَّ بِهَا فَلَبِسْتُهَا فَرَأَيْتُ الْغَضَبَ فِي وَجْهِهِ فَشَقَقْتُهَا خُمُرًا بَيْنَ نِسَائِي
