[Machine] One of them (items) is the use of scented oud (wood), for it is considered like saliva and mucus. This is an authentic narration from Ibn Abbas, from his statement, and it has also been narrated in a raised (elevated) form, although its elevation is not valid.

أَحَدُهُمَا بِعُودِ إِذْخِرٍ فَإِنَّمَا هُوَ بِمَنْزِلَةِ الْبُصَاقِ وَالْمُخَاطِ هَذَا صَحِيحٌ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ مِنْ قَوْلِهِ وَقَدْ رُوِيَ مَرْفُوعًا وَلَا يَصِحُّ رَفَعُهُ
