bayhaqi:4037 – Shuʿayb b. Abū Ḥamzah > Hishām b. ʿUrwah from his father > ʿĀʾishah

[Machine] That the Prophet ﷺ recited Surah Al-A'raf in the Maghrib prayer and divided it into two units. Ali ibn Ahmad ibn Abdan informed us, Ahmad ibn Ubaid reported to us, Shadhan ibn Zakariya reported to us, Abu Abdullah narrated to us, Amr ibn Uthman ibn Sa'id ibn Kathir ibn Dinar narrated to us, Abu Haywah and Baqiyyah ibn al-Walid said, Shu'ayb ibn Abi Hamzah narrated it, and he mentioned it in the same way.  

البيهقي:٤٠٣٧ – وَرُوِيَ عَنْ شُعَيْبِ بْنِ أَبِي حَمْزَةَ عَنْ هِشَامِ بْنِ عُرْوَةَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ عَائِشَةَ

أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ قَرَأَ سُورَةَ الْأَعْرَافِ فِي صَلَاةِ الْمَغْرِبِ فَرَّقَهَا فِي رَكْعَتَيْنِ أَخْبَرَنَاهُ عَلِيُّ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ عَبْدَانَ أنبأ أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عُبَيْدٍ ثنا شَاذَانُ بْنُ زَكَرِيَّا ثنا أَبُو عَبْدِ اللهِ ثنا عَمْرُو بْنُ عُثْمَانَ بْنِ سَعِيدِ بْنِ كَثِيرِ بْنِ دِينَارٍ ثنا أَبُو حَيْوَةَ وَبَقِيَّةُ بْنُ الْوَلِيدِ قَالَا ثنا شُعَيْبُ بْنُ أَبِي حَمْزَةَ فَذَكَرَهُ وَكَذَلِكَ  

رَوَاهُ أَبُو تَقِيٍّ عَنْ بَقِيَّةَ وَرَوَاهُ مُحَاضِرُ بْنُ الْمُوَرِّعِ عَنْ هِشَامِ بْنِ عُرْوَةَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ زَيْدِ بْنِ ثَابِتٍ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ بِهَذَا الْمَعْنَى وَالصَّحِيحُ هِيَ الرِّوَايَةُ الْأُولَى
