[Machine] to Aishah, the Prophet's wife, "Indeed, there are men who would recite the Quran two or three times in one night." She said, "Those people have recited, but I used to stay up with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ in complete darkness, and he would recite Surah Al-Baqarah, Surah Al-Imran, and Surah An-Nisa. When he would come across a verse that mentions glad tidings, he would supplicate and show delight. And when he would come across a verse that mentions threats or warnings, he would supplicate and seek refuge."
