[Machine] He said, "The patient prays while lying on his back with his feet facing the Qibla (direction of prayer), and this is permitted and acceptable if he is unable to pray on his side. And with Allah is all success."  

البيهقي:٣٦٧٩أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ الْحَارِثِ الْفَقِيهُ أنبأ عَلِيُّ بْنُ عُمَرَ أنبأ إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ حَمَّادٍ ثنا عَبَّاسُ بْنُ يَزِيدَ ثنا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ أنبأ أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ عُبَيْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عُمَرَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ نَافِعٍ عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ قَالَ

قَالَ يُصَلِّي الْمَرِيضُ مُسْتَلْقِيًا عَلَى قَفَاهُ تَلِي قَدَمَاهُ الْقِبْلَةَ وَهَذَا مَوْقُوفٌ وَهُوَ مَحْمُولٌ عَلَى مَا لَوْ عَجَزَ عَنِ الصَّلَاةِ عَلَى جَنْبِهِ وَبِاللهِ التَّوْفِيقُ
