[Machine] I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say, "The prayer of a man is cut off if there is no space in front of him equal to the width of the hindquarters of a woman, donkey, or a black dog." I asked, "O Abu Dharr, what about a white, red, or yellow dog?" He said, "O nephew, I asked the Prophet ﷺ as you asked me. He said, 'The black dog is a devil.'"  

سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ يَقْطَعُ صَلَاةَ الرَّجُلِ إِذَا لَمْ يَكُنْ بَيْنَ يَدَيْهِ مِثْلُ مُؤَخِّرَةِ الرَّحْلِ الْمَرْأَةُ وَالْحِمَارُ وَالْكَلْبُ الْأَسْوَدُ قَالَ قُلْتُ يَا أَبَا ذَرٍّ فَمَا بَالُ الْأَسْوَدِ مِنَ الْأَبْيَضِ مِنَ الْأَحْمَرِ؟ قَالَ يَا ابْنَ أَخِي سَأَلْتُ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ كَمَا سَأَلْتَنِي فَقَالَ الْكَلْبُ الْأَسْوَدُ شَيْطَانٌ
