[Machine] I came to the Prophet ﷺ when I arrived from Abyssinia, and I greeted him. I found him standing and praying, so I greeted him and he nodded his head. This is the preserved message.  

البيهقي:٣٤٠٨وَأَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو الْحَسَنِ بْنُ عَبْدَانَ أنبأ أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عُبَيْدٍ ثنا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ أَبِي كَثِيرٍ ثنا مَكِّيٌّ ثنا هِشَامٌ عَنْ مُحَمَّدٍ قَالَ أُنْبِئْتُ أَنَّ ابْنَ مَسْعُودٍ قَالَ

أَتَيْتُ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ حِينَ قَدِمْتُ عَلَيْهِ مِنَ الْحَبَشَةِ أُسَلِّمُ عَلَيْهِ فَوَجَدْتُهُ قَائِمًا يُصَلِّي فَسَلَّمْتُ عَلَيْهِ فَأَوْمَأَ بِرَأْسِهِ وَكَانَ مُحَمَّدٌ يَأْخُذُ بِهِ هَذَا هُوَ الْمَحْفُوظُ مُرْسَلٌ
