[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "If one of you feels the need to pass gas while in prayer, he should put his hand on his nose and then leave to relieve himself. Then he should return and continue his prayer." This hadith was narrated by Hajjaj ibn Muhammad, from Ibn Juraij, from Hisham, from Amr ibn Ali al-Muqaddami, from Hisham, from Jubairah ibn al-Mughlis, from Abdullah ibn al-Mubarak, from Hisham. It was also narrated by Thawri, Shu'bah, Zaidah, Ibn al-Mubarak, Shu'ayb ibn Ishaq, and Abdah ibn Sulaiman, all from Hisham ibn Urwah, from his father, from the Prophet ﷺ as a marfu' (elevated) narration. Abu Isa at-Tirmidhi said, "This narration is more authentic than the hadith of Fadl ibn Musa."
