[Machine] Ali said: I had a specific time during the night where I would enter upon the Messenger of Allah ﷺ. If he was in prayer, I would glorify Allah (subhanahu wa ta'ala) and this would be his permission for me to enter. If he was not in prayer, he would give me permission, but Musaddad ibn Musarhad did not mention in his chain of narrators Harith al-Uklī. The first narrator was in agreement regarding the glorification, and there were 3341 narrators who informed us about it. Abu Bakr ibn al-Harith al-Faqih reported to us, who informed us that Abu Muhammad ibn Hayyan reported to him, who informed us that Ibn Abi Asim reported to him, who narrated from Abu Kamil, who narrated from Abd al-Wahid ibn Ziyad, who mentioned it and mentioned Harith al-Uklī in his chain of narrators except that he said in the text: "if he was in prayer, he would straighten his back," and this was his permission. This was also narrated by Abu Bakr ibn Ayyash from Mu'ghirah from Harith from Abdullah ibn Najiy regarding the straightening of the back without mentioning Abu Zur'ah in his chain of narrators. Abu Abdullah al-Hafiz reported it to us, who narrated from Abu Ja'far Muhammad ibn Ubaydullah al-Alawi from Kufa, who narrated from Husayn ibn al-Hakam al-Hairi, who narrated from Abu Ghassan who narrated to me that Abu Bakr ibn Ayyash reported it to him. And it was also narrated by Shurayhbil ibn Mudrik from Abdullah ibn Najiy from his father from Ali regarding the glorification, and his father narrated something additional from Ali. But Abdullah ibn Najiy is not considered as strong evidence in this matter.
