[Machine] I saw Ali wearing a waist-wrap above the navel, and this does not contradict the statement of those who claim that the navel is not considered an 'awrah (private area). Because whoever claims that has tied the waist-wrap above the navel in order to cover all the 'awrah with a covering, and with Allah is the success.
رَأَيْتُ عَلِيًّا ؓ يَتَّزِرُ فَوْقَ السُّرَّةِ وَهَذَا لَا يُخَالِفُ قَوْلَ مَنْ زَعَمَ أَنَّ السُّرَّةَ لَيْسَتْ بِعَوْرَةٍ؛ لِأَنَّ مَنْ زَعَمَ ذَلِكَ عَقَدَ الْإِزَارَ فَوْقَ السُّرَّةِ لِيَسْتَوْعِبَ جَمِيعَ الْعَوْرَةِ بِالسِّتْرِ وَبِاللهِ التَّوْفِيقُ
