[Machine] The Prophet ﷺ used to make qunut for a month, so I asked, "How is qunut performed?" He said, "It is done after bowing, and this is what he (the Prophet) has informed us, that qunut is generally performed after bowing. And his statement, 'Indeed, he made qunut for a month' means that he intended by it supplication and Allah knows best. The narrators of qunut after bowing are more and more reliable, so it is more appropriate, and based on this, the rightly guided caliphs also followed in the months of narration from them, and most of them did."  

قَنَتَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ شَهْرًا فَقُلْتُ كَيْفَ الْقُنُوتُ؟ قَالَ بَعْدَ الرُّكُوعِ فَهُوَ ذَا قَدْ أَخْبَرَ أَنَّ الْقُنُوتَ الْمُطْلَقَ الْمُعْتَادَ بَعْدَ الرُّكُوعِ وَقَوْلُهُ إِنَّمَا قَنَتَ شَهْرًا يُرِيدُ بِهِ اللَّعْنَ وَاللهُ تَعَالَى أَعْلَمُ وَرُوَاةُ الْقُنُوتِ بَعْدَ الرُّكُوعِ أَكْثَرُ وَأَحْفَظُ فَهُوَ أَوْلَى وَعَلَى هَذَا دَرَجَ الْخُلَفَاءُ الرَّاشِدُونَ ؓ فِي أَشْهَرِ الرِّوَايَاتِ عَنْهُمْ وَأَكْثَرِهَا
