[Machine] I have never seen the Messenger of Allah, ﷺ , get upset with something as much as he did with the people of the Ma'un well and the people of the military expedition of Al-Mundhir ibn 'Amr. He stayed in anger for a whole month, invoking curses upon those who had harmed them during the morning prayers. He invoked curses upon Ri'l, Zakwan, 'Usayyah, Lahyan, and he also mentioned Al-Ahwal, all of whom were mentioned by Anas ibn Malik. They said in the narration that it lasted for a month, and Malik ibn Anas narrated it from Ishaq ibn 'Abdullah ibn Abi Talha from Anas in the same way for thirty mornings. Hammam ibn Yahya also narrated it from Ishaq, and he said forty mornings, while the authentic narration is thirty. This was also narrated by Hammam, and it was narrated from Humaid al-Tawil from Anas in the story of the 'Uraniyyin. He said, "He sent after them (i.e., the people of the Ma'un well and the expedition of Al-Mundhir) traces of what he had invoked upon them in his prayers, twenty-five times. And that story is different from this one, and what is narrated from Humaid in the story of the Qurr'a is correct."  

البيهقي:٣٠٩٥وَحَدَّثَنَا أَبُو مُحَمَّدٍ عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ يُوسُفَ إِمْلَاءً أنبأ أَبُو بَكْرٍ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْحُسَيْنِ الْقَطَّانُ أنبأ أَحْمَدُ بْنُ يُوسُفَ السُّلَمِيُّ ثنا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ أنبأ مَعْمَرٌ عَنْ عَاصِمٍ عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ قَالَ

مَا رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ وَجَدَ عَلَى شَيْءٍ قَطُّ مَا وَجَدَ عَلَى أَصْحَابِ بِئْرِ مَعُونَةَ وَأَصْحَابِ سَرِيَّةِ الْمُنْذِرِ بْنِ عَمْرٍو فَمَكَثَ شَهْرًا يَدْعُو عَلَى الَّذِينَ أَصَابُوهُمْ فِي قُنُوتِ صَلَاةِ الْغَدَاةِ يَدْعُو عَلَى رِعْلٍ وَذَكْوَانَ وَعُصَيَّةَ وَلَحْيَانَ وَرَوَاهُ قَتَادَةُ وَعَبْدُ الْعَزِيزِ بْنُ صُهَيْبٍ وَأَبُو مِجْلَزٍ لَاحَقُ بْنُ حُمَيْدٍ وَأَنَسُ بْنُ سِيرِينَ وَمُوسَى بْنُ أَنَسٍ وَعَاصِمُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ الْأَحْوَلُ كُلُّهُمْ عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ وَقَالُوا فِي الْحَدِيثِ شَهْرًا وَرَوَاهُ مَالِكُ بْنُ أَنَسٍ عَنْ إِسْحَاقَ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ أَبِي طَلْحَةَ عَنْ أَنَسٍ كَذَلِكَ ثَلَاثِينَ صَبَاحًا وَرَوَاهُ هَمَّامُ بْنُ يَحْيَى عَنْ إِسْحَاقَ فَقَالَ أَرْبَعِينَ صَبَاحًا وَالصَّحِيحُ ثَلَاثِينَ وَقَدْ رُوِيَ ذَلِكَ أَيْضًا عَنْ هَمَّامٍ وَرُوِيَ عَنْ حُمَيْدٍ الطَّوِيلِ عَنْ أَنَسٍ فِي قِصَّةِ الْعُرَنِيِّينَ قَالَ فَأَرْسَلَ فِي آثَارِهِمْ بَعْدَ أَنْ دَعَا عَلَيْهِمْ فِي صَلَاتِهِ خَمْسًا وَعِشْرِينَ مَرَّةً وَتِلْكَ الْقِصَّةُ غَيْرُ هَذِهِ وَالْمَحْفُوظُ عَنْ حُمَيْدٍ فِي قِصَّةِ الْقُرَّاءِ مَا
