[Machine] Narrated from the Prophet ﷺ that he prayed while the person behind him was reciting. One of the companions of the Prophet ﷺ then prohibited him from reciting in prayer. When the Prophet ﷺ finished, the man approached him and said, "Are you forbidding me from reciting behind the Messenger of Allah ﷺ ?" A dispute arose between them until the man mentioned it to the Prophet ﷺ . The Prophet ﷺ said, "Whoever prays behind the imam, the recitation of the imam is sufficient for him like this."  

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ أَنَّهُ صَلَّى وَكَانَ مَنْ خَلْفَهُ يَقْرَأُ فَجَعَلَ رَجُلٌ مِنْ أَصْحَابِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ يَنْهَاهُ عَنِ الْقِرَاءَةِ فِي الصَّلَاةِ فَلَمَّا انْصَرَفَ أَقْبَلَ عَلَيْهِ الرَّجُلُ فَقَالَ أَتَنْهَانِي عَنِ الْقِرَاءَةِ خَلْفَ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ ‍ فَتَنَازَعَا حَتَّى ذَكَرَ ذَلِكَ لِلنَّبِيِّ ﷺ فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ مَنْ صَلَّى خَلْفَ الْإِمَامِ فَإِنَّ قِرَاءَةَ الْإِمَامِ لَهُ قِرَاءَةٌ هَكَذَا
