[Machine] The Prophet ﷺ stood up for prayer. He raised his hands until they were level with his ears, and he held his left hand with his right. When he was about to bow, he raised his hands. When he raised his head from the bowing position, he raised his hands again. When he prostrated, he placed his hands on the ground. He prostrated between them. Then he sat down and placed his left hand on his left thigh and his right elbow on his right thigh. He clasped his middle finger with his thumb and pointed with his index finger, indicating something.  

البيهقي:٢٧٨٤أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَافِظُ ثنا عَلِيُّ بْنُ حِمْشَاذَ قَالَ وَأَخْبَرَنِي أَبُو سَعِيدٍ أَحْمَدُ بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ الثَّقَفِيُّ قَالَا أَنْبَأَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ أَيُّوبَ أَنْبَأَنَا مُسَدَّدٌ أنبأ خَالِدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ ثنا عَاصِمُ بْنُ كُلَيْبٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ وَائِلِ بْنِ حُجْرٍ

أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ قَامَ إِلَى الصَّلَاةِ فَكَبَّرَ وَرَفَعَ يَدَيْهِ حَتَّى حَاذَى بِهِمَا أُذُنَيْهِ وَأَخَذَ شِمَالَهُ بِيَمِينِهِ فَلَمَّا أَرَادَ أَنْ يَرْكَعَ رَفَعَ يَدَيْهِ فَلَمَّا رَفَعَ رَأْسَهُ مِنَ الرُّكُوعِ رَفَعَ يَدَيْهِ فَلَمَّا سَجَدَ وَضَعَ يَدَيْهِ فَسَجَدَ بَيْنَهُمَا ثُمَّ جَلَسَ فَوَضَعَ يَدَيْهِ الْيُسْرَى عَلَى فَخِذِهِ الْيُسْرَى وَمِرْفَقَهُ الْيُمْنَى عَلَى فَخِذِهِ الْيُمْنَى ثُمَّ عَقَدَ الْخِنْصَرَ وَالْبِنْصَرَ ثُمَّ حَلَّقَ الْوُسْطَى بِالْإِبْهَامِ وَأَشَارَ بِالسَّبَابَةِ وَبِمَعْنَاهُ  

رَوَاهُ جِمَاعَةٌ عَنْ عَاصِمِ بْنِ كُلَيْبٍ وَنَحْنُ نُجِيزُهُ وَنَخْتَارُ مَا رُوِّينَا فِي حَدِيثِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ ثُمَّ مَا رُوِّينَا فِي حَدِيثِ ابْنِ الزُّبَيْرِ لِثُبُوتِ خَبَرِهِمَا وَقُوَّةِ إِسْنَادِهِ وَمَزِيَّةِ رِجَالِهِ وَرَجَاحَتِهِمْ فِي الْفَضْلِ عَلَى عَاصِمِ بْنِ كُلَيْبٍ وَبِاللهِ التَّوْفِيقُ
