[Machine] So he wiped his head with both of his hands, starting from the front to the back, once, and mentioned the saying. Then he said: "Whoever wishes to see the purity of the Messenger of Allah's ﷺ ablution, this is how it was."  

البيهقي:٢٧١أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو الْحَسَنِ بْنُ عَبْدَانَ أنا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عُبَيْدٍ ثنا عَبَّاسُ بْنُ الْفَضْلِ الْأَسْفَاطِيُّ ثنا أَبُو الْوَلِيدِ ثنا زَائِدَةُ عَنْ خَالِدِ بْنِ عَلْقَمَةَ عَنْ عَبْدِ خَيْرٍ عَنْ عَلِيٍّ فَذَكَرَ الْحَدِيثَ فِي وُضُوئِهِ قَالَ

فَمَسَحَ رَأْسَهُ بِيَدَيْهِ جَمِيعًا مُقَدَّمَهُ وَمُؤَخَّرَهُ مَرَّةً وَذَكَرَ الْحَدِيثَ ثُمَّ قَالَ مَنْ أَحَبَّ أَنْ يَنْظُرَ إِلَى وُضُوءِ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ فَهَذَا كَانَ طُهُورَهُ
