[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Adorn the Quran with your voices.'' Abdullah said: "I had forgotten this word until Dahhak bin Mazahim reminded me of it," and in the narration of Abu Dawud, Shu'bah said: "I had forgotten this letter until Dahhak bin Mazahim reminded me of it."  

البيهقي:٢٤٢٧ – أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ فُورَكٍ أنبأ عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ ثنا يُونُسُ بْنُ حَبِيبٍ ثنا أَبُو دَاوُدَ ثنا شُعْبَةُ وَأَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَافِظُ ثنا أَبُو النَّضْرِ الْفَقِيهُ أنبأ صَالِحُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ حَبِيبٍ الْحَافِظُ ثنا عُبَيْدُ اللهِ بْنُ عُمَرَ الْقَوَارِيرِيُّ ثنا يَحْيَى بْنُ سَعِيدٍ عَنْ شُعْبَةَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي طَلْحَةُ بْنُ مُصَرِّفٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ عَوْسَجَةَ عَنِ الْبَرَاءِ قَالَ

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ زَيِّنُوا الْقُرْآنَ بِأَصْوَاتِكُمْ قَالَ عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ وَكُنْتُ نَسِيتُ هَذِهِ الْكَلِمَةَ حَتَّى ذَكَّرَنِيهَا الضَّحَّاكُ بْنُ مُزَاحِمٍ وَفِي رِوَايَةِ أَبِي دَاوُدَ عَنْ شُعْبَةَ فَنَسِيتُ هَذَا الْحَرْفَ حَتَّى ذَكَّرَنِيهِ الضَّحَّاكُ بْنُ مُزَاحِمٍ

الحاكم:٢١٠٩ – فَحَدَّثَنَاهُ أَبُو النَّضْرِ الْفَقِيهُ بِالطَّابَرَانِ وَأَبُو نَصْرٍ الْفَقِيهُ بِبُخَارَى قَالَا ثنا صَالِحُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ حَبِيبٍ الْحَافِظُ ثنا عُبَيْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ عُمَرَ الْقَوَارِيرِيُّ ثنا يَحْيَى بْنُ سَعِيدٍ عَنْ شُعْبَةَ حَدَّثَنِي طَلْحَةُ بْنُ مُصَرِّفٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ عَوْسَجَةَ عَنِ الْبَرَاءِ قَالَ

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ «زَيِّنُوا الْقُرْآنَ بِأَصْوَاتِكُمْ» قَالَ عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ وَكُنْتُ نَسِيتُ هَذِهِ الْكَلِمَةِ حَتَّى ذَكَّرَنِيهِ الضَّحَّاكُ بْنُ مُزَاحِمٍ  

قَالَ الْحَاكِمُ «قَدْ حَدَّثَ بِهَذَا الْحَدِيثِ جَمَاعَةٌ عَنْ شُعْبَةَ عَنْ طَلْحَةَ الْحَدِيثَ بِطُولِهِ وَلَمْ يَذْكُرْ هَذِهِ اللفظةَ» كُنْتُ نَسِيتُ «غَيْرُ يَحْيَى بْنِ سَعِيدٍ وَمُعَاذٍ الْعَنْبَرِيِّ»
