bayhaqi:2421Abū Ṭāhir al-Faqīh > Abū Bakr Muḥammad b. al-Ḥusayn al-Qaṭṭān > ʿAlī b. al-Ḥasan al-Hilālī > ʿAbdullāh b. al-Walīd > Sufyān > Khālid al-Ḥadhhāʾ

[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ , Abu Bakr, and Umar did not recite, meaning they did not pronounce, "Bismillah ar-Rahman ar-Raheem" out loud in the hadith. Al-Husayn ibn Hafs narrated this and said, "They did not pronounce," but he did not say, "They did not recite." Abu Na`amah Qays ibn Abaya did not use this as evidence, and Allah knows best.
