[Machine] I saw the Messenger of Allah, ﷺ , when he began the prayer, he raised his hands parallel to his shoulders. And when he bowed and after he raised his head from the bowing, Wail said that I saw them in the winter and they used to raise their hands in the blankets as well. And similarly...  

البيهقي:٢٣٠٥أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو زَكَرِيَّا بْنُ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ الْمُزَكِّي ثنا أَبُو الْعَبَّاسِ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ أنبأ الرَّبِيعُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ أنبأ الشَّافِعِيُّ أنبأ سُفْيَانُ عَنْ عَاصِمِ بْنِ كُلَيْبٍ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ أَبِي يَقُولُ حَدَّثَنِي وَائِلُ بْنُ حُجْرٍ قَالَ

رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ إِذَا افْتَتَحَ الصَّلَاةَ يَرْفَعُ يَدَيْهِ حَذْوَ مَنْكِبَيْهِ وَإِذَا رَكَعَ وَبَعْدَ مَا يَرْفَعُ رَأْسَهُ مِنَ الرُّكُوعِ قَالَ وَائِلٌ ثُمَّ أَتَيْتُهُمْ فِي الشِّتَاءِ فَرَأَيْتُهُمْ يَرْفَعُونَ أَيْدِيَهُمْ فِي الْبَرَانِسِ وَكَذَلِكَ
