bayhaqi:21739Abū ʿAbdullāh al-Ḥāfiẓ > Abū Aḥmad b. Abū al-Ḥasan > ʿAbd al-Raḥman / Ibn Abū Ḥātim al-Rāzī from my father > Ḥarmalah > al-Shāfiʿī

[Machine] I heard Al-Shafi'i say in a narration of the Prophet ﷺ , where he said to her, "Stipulate allegiance for them." The meaning of "stipulate allegiance" is to stipulate allegiance upon them. Allah says, "Those are the ones upon whom is the curse." (Surah Ar-Ra'd 13:25) meaning, the curse is upon them. The shaikh may Allah have mercy on him said, the first answer is the most correct, and the correctness of this wording is open to interpretation, and Allah knows best.
