[Machine] The book of Umar to Abu Musa, so mention it and make it a provision for the claimant who reaches it. If he presents clear evidence, then follow it, otherwise you should direct the judgment against him. Surely, this is clearer in resolving ignorance and more complete in the excuse.  

البيهقي:٢٠٧٣٠حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو طَاهِرٍ الْفَقِيهُ أنبأ أَحْمَدُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ يَحْيَى ثنا يَحْيَى بْنُ الرَّبِيعِ الْمَكِّيُّ ثنا سُفْيَانُ بْنُ عُيَيْنَةَ عَنْ إِدْرِيسَ الْأَوْدِيِّ قَالَ أَخْرَجَ إِلَيْنَا سَعِيدُ بْنُ أَبِي بُرْدَةَ كِتَابًا وَقَالَ هَذَا

كِتَابُ عُمَرَ إِلَى أَبِي مُوسَى ؓ فَذَكَرَهُ وَفِيهِ وَاجْعَلْ لِلْمُدَّعِي أَمَدًا يَنْتَهِي إِلَيْهِ فَإِنْ أَحْضَرَ بَيِّنَةً وَإِلَّا وَجَّهْتَ عَلَيْهِ الْقَضَاءَ فَإِنَّ ذَلِكَ أَجْلَى لِلْعَمَى وَأَبْلَغُ فِي الْعُذْرِ
