[Machine] He swore her by the maqam (sacred place), and if she was lying, calamity would not befall her until her breath turned white. She was sworn and she swore, and calamity did not befall her until her breath turned white.  

البيهقي:٢٠٦٩٩ – أَخْبَرَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ عَبْدَانَ أنبأ أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ مَحْمَوَيْهِ الْعَسْكَرِيُّ ثنا عِيسَى بْنُ غَيْلَانَ ثنا حَاضِرُ بْنُ مُطَهَّرٍ ثنا أَبُو عُبَيْدَةَ مُجَّاعَةُ عَنْ قَتَادَةَ عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ زَيْدٍ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ ؓ أَنَّهُ سُئِلَ عَنِ امْرَأَةٍ شَهِدَتْ أَنَّهَا أَرْضَعَتِ امْرَأَةً وَزَوْجَهَا فَقَالَ

اسْتَحْلِفْهَا عِنْدَ الْمَقَامِ فَإِنَّهَا إِنْ كَانَتْ كَاذِبَةً لَمْ يَحُلْ عَلَيْهَا الْحَوْلُ حَتَّى يَبْيَضَّ ثَدْيَاهَا فَاسْتُحْلِفَتْ فَحَلَفَتْ فَلَمْ يَحُلْ عَلَيْهَا الْحَوْلُ حَتَّى ابْيَضَّ ثَدْيَاهَا
