[Machine] A man who had a relationship with Uthman came to him and asked about his livelihood. Uthman mentioned to him the profit from selling pigeons and earnings from cupping or two cuppers. The man said, "Your earnings are dirty" or "Your earnings are filthy" or "Your earnings are impure" or "A word that resembles them"  

البيهقي:١٩٥٢١أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَافِظُ ثنا أَبُو الْعَبَّاسِ هُوَ الْأَصَمُّ أنبأ الرَّبِيعُ قَالَ قَالَ الشَّافِعِيُّ وَقَدْ رُوِيَ

أَنَّ رَجُلًا ذَا قَرَابَةٍ لِعُثْمَانَ ؓ قَدِمَ عَلَيْهِ فَسَأَلَهُ عَنْ مَعَاشِهِ فَذَكَرَ لَهُ غَلَّةَ حَمَّامٍ وَكَسْبَ حَجَّامٍ أَوْ حَجَّامَيْنِ فَقَالَ إِنَّ كَسْبَكُمْ لَوَسَخٌ أَوْ قَالَ لَدَنَسٌ أَوْ لَدَنِيٌّ أَوْ كَلِمَةً تُشْبِهِهَا
