[Machine] As for these big black ones, I hate eating them, but as for those small ones called zagh, there is no problem with eating them.  

البيهقي:١٩٣٧١ – أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَافِظُ وَأَبُو سَعِيدٍ الصَّيْرَفِيُّ قَالَا ثنا أَبُو الْعَبَّاسِ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ ثنا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ الْهَاشِمِيُّ بِحَلَبَ ثنا آدَمُ بْنُ أَبِي إِيَاسٍ ثنا شُعْبَةُ قَالَ سَأَلْتُ الْحَكَمَ عَنْ أَكْلِ الْغِرْبَانِ فَقَالَ

أَمَّا هَذِهِ السُّودُ الْكِبَارُ فَإِنِّي أَكْرَهُ أَكْلَهَا وَأَمَّا تِلْكَ الصِّغَارُ الَّتِي يُقَالُ لَهَا الزَّاغُ فَلَا بَأْسَ بِأَكْلِهِ
