He changed the name of Al-Aas ibn Al-Aswad to Muti'a, and changed Zura'ah and Shihaab to Hisham and Harb, and Al-Mudtaji' to Al-Munba'ith, and other names that the book does not mention.  

لَنَا رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ انْزِلُوا وَاقْبُرُوهُ وَأَنْتُمْ عَبِيدُ اللهِ قَالَ فَنَزَلْنَا فَقَبَرْنَا أَخَانَا وَصَعِدْنَا مِنَ الْقَبْرِ وَقَدْ أُبْدِلَتْ أَسْمَاؤُنَا وَفِي هَذَا الْبَابِ أَخْبَارٌ كَثِيرَةٌ فَإِنَّهُ غَيَّرَ اسْمَ الْعَاصِ بْنِ الْأَسْوَدِ بِمُطِيعٍ وَأَصْرَمَ بِزُرْعَةَ وَشِهَابٍ بِهِشَامٍ وَحَرْبٍ بِسِلْمٍ وَالْمُضْطَجِعِ بِالْمُنْبَعِثِ وَغَيْرِ ذَلِكَ مِمَّا يَطُولُ بِنَقْلِهِ الْكِتَابُ
