We set out in the state of Ihram for Hajj along, with Messenger of Allah ﷺ. He commanded us that seven persons should join in a camel and a cow for offering sacrifice. (Using translation from Muslim 1318b)
خَرَجْنَا مَعَ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ مُهِلِّينَ بِالْحَجِّ فَأَمَرَنَا رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ أَنْ نَشْتَرِكَ فِي الْإِبِلِ وَالْبَقَرِ كُلُّ سَبْعَةٍ مِنَّا فِي بَدَنَةٍ
We set out in the state of Ihram for Hajj along, with Messenger of Allah ﷺ. He commanded us that seven persons should join in a camel and a cow for offering sacrifice.
خَرَجْنَا مَعَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ مُهِلِّينَ بِالْحَجِّ فَأَمَرَنَا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ أَنْ نَشْتَرِكَ فِي الإِبِلِ وَالْبَقَرِ كُلُّ سَبْعَةٍ مِنَّا فِي بَدَنَةٍ
[Machine] We accompanied the Messenger of Allah ﷺ on a pilgrimage with women and children. When we arrived in Mecca, we circumambulated the Kaaba, Safa, and Marwa. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ ordered us to participate in the sacrifice of camels and cows, each group of seven of us contributing to a share. This is the wording of the hadith of Ibn Abi Qarib.
خَرَجْنَا مَعَ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ مُهِلِّينَ بِالْحَجِّ مَعَنَا النِّسَاءُ وَالْوِلْدَانُ فَلَمَّا قَدِمْنَا مَكَّةَ طُفْنَا بِالْبَيْتِ وَالصَّفَا وَالْمَرْوَةِ أَمَرَنَا رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ أَنْ نَشْتَرِكَ فِي الْإِبِلِ وَالْبَقَرِ كُلُّ سَبْعَةٍ مِنَّا فِي الْبَدَنَةِ هَذَا لَفْظُ حَدِيثِ ابْنِ عَبْدَانَ
