bayhaqi:19164 – Abū al-Ḥusayn b. Bishrān al-ʿAdl> Abū Jaʿfar Muḥammad b. ʿAmr al-Razzāz > Saʿdān b. Naṣr > Sufyān b. ʿUyaynah > ʿAbd al-Raḥman b. al-Qāsim from his father > ʿĀʾishah

[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ sacrificed a cow for his wives. They mentioned it in a hadith from Sufyan. Al-Shafi'i (may Allah have mercy on him) said, "It was offered as a gift, and it was only sacrificed by the one who gave it along with him."

البيهقي:١٩١٦٤ – أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو الْحُسَيْنِ بْنُ بِشْرَانَ الْعَدْلُ بِبَغْدَادَ أنبأ أَبُو جَعْفَرٍ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَمْرٍو الرَّزَّازُ ثنا سَعْدَانُ بْنُ نَصْرٍ ثنا سُفْيَانُ بْنُ عُيَيْنَةَ عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ الْقَاسِمِ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ عَائِشَةَ ؓ قَالَتْ

ضَحَّى رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ عَنْ نِسَائِهِ بِالْبَقَرِ أَخْرَجَاهُ فِي الصَّحِيحِ مِنْ حَدِيثِ سُفْيَانَ قَالَ الشَّافِعِيُّ رَحِمَهُ اللهُ وَأُهْدِيَ هَدْيًا وَإِنَّمَا نَحَرَهُ مَنْ أَهْدَاهُ مَعَهُ
