[Machine] That the sheep is slaughtered, then its neck is broken from the place of slaughter for its windpipe, and for the location of the break in it, or it is struck to hasten its movement, and I dislike this. He said, and it is not forbidden because it is intelligent.  

البيهقي:١٩١٣٤أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو سَعِيدِ بْنُ أَبِي عَمْرٍو ثنا أَبُو الْعَبَّاسِ الْأَصَمُّ أنبأ الرَّبِيعُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ قَالَ قَالَ الشَّافِعِيُّ رَحِمَهُ اللهُ وَنَهَى عُمَرُ بْنُ الْخَطَّابِ ؓ عَنِ النَّخْعِ وَأَنْ تُعْجَلَ الْأَنْفُسُ أَنْ تَزْهَقَ قَالَ الشَّافِعِيُّ رَحِمَهُ اللهُ وَالنَّخْعُ

أَنْ تُذْبَحَ الشَّاةُ ثُمَّ يُكْسَرُ قَفَاهَا مِنْ مَوْضِعِ الذَّبْحِ لِنَخْعِهِ وَلِمَكَانِ الْكَسْرِ فِيهِ أَوْ تُضْرَبَ لِيُعْجَلَ قَطْعُ حَرَكَتِهَا فَأَكْرَهُ هَذَا وَقَالَ وَلَمْ يُحَرِّمْهَا ذَلِكَ لِأَنَّهَا ذَكِيَّةٌ
