[Machine] I prayed with the Prophet ﷺ in this way, and it was narrated that Umar ibn Al-Khattab and Abdullah ibn Masood also prayed each of the two prayers of Isha separately, with Adhan and Iqamah.  

البيهقي:١٨٨٥أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو عَلِيٍّ الرُّوذْبَارِيُّ ثنا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ دَاسَةَ ثنا أَبُو دَاوُدَ ثنا مُسَدَّدٌ ثنا أَبُو الْأَحْوَصِ ثنا أَشْعَثُ بْنُ سُلَيْمٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ قَالَ أَقْبَلَتُ مَعَ ابْنِ عُمَرَ مِنْ عَرَفَاتٍ إِلَى الْمُزْدَلِفَةِ فَلَمْ يَكُنْ يَفْتُرُ مِنَ التَّكْبِيرِ وَالتَّهْلِيلِ حَتَّى أَتَيْنَا الْمُزْدَلِفَةَ فَأَذَّنَ وَأَقَامَ أَوْ أَمَرَ إِنْسَانًا فَأَذَّنَ وَأَقَامَ فَصَلَّى بِنَا الْمَغْرِبَ ثَلَاثَ رَكَعَاتٍ ثُمَّ الْتَفَتَ إِلَيْنَا فَقَالَ الصَّلَاةُ فَصَلَّى بِنَا الْعِشَاءَ رَكْعَتَيْنِ ثُمَّ دَعَا بِعَشَائِهِ قَالَ وَأَخْبَرَنِي عِلَاجُ بْنُ عَمْرٍو بِمِثْلِ حَدِيثِ أَبِي عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ فَقِيلَ لِابْنِ عُمَرَ فِي ذَلِكَ فَقَالَ

صَلَّيْتُ مَعَ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ هَكَذَا وَرُوِيَ عَنْ عُمَرَ بْنِ الْخَطَّابِ وَعَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ مَسْعُودٍ أَنَّهُمَا صَلَّيَا كُلَّ وَاحِدَةٍ مِنَ الصَّلَاتَيْنِ فِي وَقْتِ الْعِشَاءِ مَفْصُولَتَيْنِ بِأَذَانٍ وَإِقَامَةٍ
