Ibn ‘Abbas said “When the Prophet of the Persians dies, Iblis (satan) led them to Mazdaism.” (Using translation from Abū Dāʾūd 3042)

البيهقي:١٨٦٦٢ – أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو عَلِيٍّ الرُّوذْبَارِيُّ أنبأ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بَكْرٍ ثنا أَبُو دَاوُدَ ثنا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ سِنَانٍ الْوَاسِطِيُّ ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بِلَالٍ عَنْ عِمْرَانَ الْقَطَّانِ عَنْ أَبِي جَمْرَةَ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ ؓ قَالَ

إِنَّ أَهْلَ فَارِسَ لَمَّا مَاتَ نَبِيُّهُمْ كَتَبَ لَهُمْ إِبْلِيسُ الْمَجُوسِيَّةَ
