[Machine] When evening came on the day of Badr, and the prisoners were in shackles, the Messenger of Allah ﷺ stayed awake at the beginning of the night. His companions said to him, "O Messenger of Allah, why don't you sleep when Al-Abbas has secretly released a man from the Ansar?" The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "I heard the moaning of my blind uncle Al-Abbas in his shackles, so they released him and he became silent. Then the Messenger of Allah ﷺ fell asleep.  

البيهقي:١٨١٤٥أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَافِظُ ثنا أَبُو الْعَبَّاسِ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ ثنا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْجَبَّارِ ثنا يُونُسُ بْنُ بُكَيْرٍ عَنِ ابْنِ إِسْحَاقَ حَدَّثَنِي الْعَبَّاسُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ مَعْبَدٍ عَنْ بَعْضِ أَهْلِهِ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ ؓ قَالَ

لَمَّا أَمْسَى رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ يَوْمَ بَدْرٍ وَالْأُسَارَى مَحْبُوسُونَ بِالْوَثَاقِ بَاتَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ سَاهِرًا أَوَّلَ اللَّيْلِ فَقَالَ لَهُ أَصْحَابُهُ يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ مَا لَكَ لَا تَنَامُ وَقَدْ أَسَرَ الْعَبَّاسَ رَجُلٌ مِنَ الْأَنْصَارِ؟ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ سَمِعْتُ أَنِينَ عَمِّيَ الْعَبَّاسِ فِي وَثَاقِهِ فَأَطْلَقُوهُ فَسَكَتَ فَنَامَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ
